Meet the Artist
Hello there, I’m Amy, and that’s me over there nicely cropped into a circle. You can usually find me drowning out the silence with mildly depressing electronic music, so right off the bat, I’ve given you the wrong impression by being far too happy.
Seeing as you’re here, I feel that it is somewhat important to tell you that I make artwork. To create that artwork, I use charcoal and paper—both derivatives of the common item known as a tree.
On the one hand, I’m heavily inspired by music, the deep inner workings of the human psyche, the confines of social constructs, and the consciousness enabling you to be aware of the very long-winded nature of this sentence. On the other hand, sometimes I need a break from my own mind and all I want to draw is a woman in a coat smoking a cigarette simply because I like the way it looks.
So welcome, it’s nice to meet you, and I hope that one day my artwork is hanging on your wall.
